MALATRA ENDURANCE RUN 2017

This event is a road running endurance race for runners, set in a beautiful and expansive park with themed gardens & sweeping views in the heart of Putrajaya.

Our main objective is to promote Saujan Hijau Putrajaya Park to the masses, especially to the local running communities and overseas runners coming to Malaysia as their running and vacation destination.

This race is open to all genders and nationalities, our objective is to promote endurance running inside the beautiful Saujana Hijau Park. Furthermore, this race is to create awareness towards appreciating nature and promote activities to save our nature & rainforest. It’s a 3km loop route inside the park with a Cut Off time of 24 hours and 12 hours. Runners with the most distance covered within 24 hours and 12 hours will be declared as Winners. Absolutely no pacers allowed.

  • Registration closed on 25th Nov 2017
  • If you cannot attend this race for whatever reason, there will be NO REFUND policy.
  • However, we allowed bib TRANSFER policy. You can transfer your bib to another runner with advance notice at least two weeks before the event’s date with additional RM20 admin fee.

  • Top three winners from each category will earn winner’s trophy.

 8. PODIUM WINNERS

Top three runners will the most distance within 24 hours and 12 hours will be announce as podium winners (Male / Female).

- For your convenience, you may also self-collect on the race day itself 1 hour before the race flag off.

14. MANDATORY GEARS

  • Headlamp (night running)
  • Blinkers (night running)
  • Hydration pack / bag / bottle that can hold at least 500 ml of water

 15. PARKING

There are limited parking available at the race venue. All participants need to follow instructions from Marshall / RELA onsite during event day. These event staff will instruct you where to park for the race.  Please do not leave your valuables in your vehicles, we will not be responsible for any losses during the race.

16. SAFETY

The organizer will have the right to stop the race in the event of bad weather, heavy rain and lightning. Participants need to follow event Marshall Instructions during the race, if it’s raining with lightning, please stop running and find shelter as soon as possible.

17. BRING YOUR OWN BOTTLE & CUPS

  • To promote and support Go-Green campaign, please bring your own cup and bottles to refill your hydration during the race.

18. BAG DEPOSIT

  • Start/Finish Line
  • Bag deposit counter will be open on race day morning (30 Dec 2017), starting from 6 AM.
  • Please tag your bag with your NAME and BIB number.

19. TIMING CHIP

  • We will be using bracelet system by Race Yaya from Philippines. Your bracelet will be scan during the race for timing/splits.
  • You’re responsible to make sure your bracelet is scan by our volunteers. No scanning no timing!
  • There will be screen/monitor at start/finish line for you to track the race progress every time you pass the timing mat.
  • If you failed to get you bracelet scan, your loop is consider void and you will be ask to redo the loop. If you decided not to follow the race’s marshal instruction to redo the loop, we have no choice but to Disqualified (DQ) your race.

20.FOOD & DRINK STATION

  • There will be ONE station for food & drink along the 3km route. Only registered runners with bib are allowed to enter this food & drink station.
  • Supporters and race audience are NOT allowed to enter this station.
  • There will be free flow of Water, Isotonic, Coca Cola, Hot Coffee & Hot Tea (Instant 3-in-1 packet). In addition, free flow of fruits; such as water melons, banana etc are also available.
